Mr Anthony SakellariouAnthony Sakellariou qualified in medicine at University College London in 1987. His surgical training was undertaken in London and Winchester and he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS England) in 1992. He then went on to specialise in orthopaedic surgery gaining the FRCS (Orth) in 1996 and the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 1999. His sub-specialty training in foot and ankle surgery was undertaken in Vancouver, Canada and the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, Arizona. Following this training he was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Advanced Foot and Ankle Training by the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

Anthony teaches nationally and internationally on many aspects of foot and ankle surgery. He has been a member of the Education Committee of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS) and is currently Secretary of BOFAS and a member of the Education Committee of EFAS (European Foot & Ankle Society). He is also an associate editor of the journal 'Foot and Ankle International'. He has worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital since 1999.
