Mr Alex Wee
Alex Wee initially graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School London in 1993. He joined Frimley Park Hospital in August 2006 as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery.
He completed his specialist orthopaedic training in East Anglia, after which he undertook a sub-specialty fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Addenbrookes’ Hospital Cambridge and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.
As a travelling surgical fellow, he also trained in foot surgery centres in Minneapolis, USA. Alex is a dedicated foot and ankle specialist who has taught on the ‘Oxbridge’ forefoot reconstruction course and the Stanmore foot and ankle course. He has an active role in the training of orthopaedic registrars and has lectured on various aspects of foot and ankle surgery. Alex has also presented research at the British and American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Societies, and is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
