Foot and ankle fellowship

The Surrey foot and ankle clinic run a fellowship program for senior orthopaedic trainees who wish to develop their skills in foot and ankle surgery. The 1 year post exposes the fellow to all aspects of foot and ankle reconstruction, including surgery for the neurological and diabetic foot. With 4 consultants supervising the training program, past fellows have operated on between 400-700 cases. Research is encouraged, with many projects resulting in publications in peer reviewed orthopaedic and foot and ankle journals. Past fellows have gone on to be appointed as consultants in the UK, New Zealand, Greece.
