Welcome to
Julie Kohls-Gatzoulis
We are delighted to announce that Julie Kohls-Gatzoulis will be joining our team of experienced consultants. Originally from Canada, Julie qualified in medicine from the University of Western Ontario in 1996 before studying orthopaedic surgery at the University of Toronto. Having moved to the UK, she continued her training with the London North West Thames programme, becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2007.
Julie went on to develop her subspecialist expertise in foot and ankle surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and as the Surrey Foot and Ankle Fellow working at both the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital. Now a consultant at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Julie has a keen interest in junior doctor education and holds extensive teaching responsibilities. She also lectures nationally on foot and ankle surgery, as well as being widely published in clinical journals. Julie is also committed to the care of diabetic patients with foot and ankle problems and runs specialised multi-disciplinary team clinics at the RSCH.
With her commitment to providing expert, patient-focused treatment, we are confident that Julie will feel right at home at the Surrey Foot and Ankle Clinic.
